This is a nice slim little volume, with very little emphasis on quilting "basics" and a readiness to jump into quilting up your own little cottage, country-quilting style, but with a heavy "Americana" twist.
This book has quilting instructions for just about anything you might have in your cottage. There are instructions for a bed quilt, throw pillows, a USA wall hanging flag, a tablecloth, drink coasters, potholders (scented and unscented!), utensil holders, and a host of other everyday items. About the only thing that isn't included here is a quilted toilet-set cover.
If you want a basic pattern to cover most of the items in your house in one form or another, check out this book - even if you don't like "country" or "Americana" themes, the projects are all easily modified once you know the basic pattern.
