Open Thread: Daisies

I love daisies.  Not entirely sure why - they just seem like such cheerful flowers!  And while I know the bouquets of multicolored daisies that greet me when I walk into the grocery store are dyed, not grown that way, they still always make me smile!

Open thread!  What are your favorite flowers, and why?  What colors do you like, and do you prefer the natural colors or the bright fake ones?  Do you prefer flowers that are visually pretty, or ones that smell nice?  If you DON'T like flowers, why not?  What other plants do you like better?
