I can't be sure, but I think the middle one is up to something. This is actually across the path from where the goats were. Across the path, a bit to the side, and over a year earlier. Picture from mid August 2017.
Apparently I used a different photo of this same group for an open thread a few days after I took the pictures. I didn't realize that until I discovered I already had a picture named "Egrets" in my upload directory, but I'm not surprised.
